APA105 Pixel Protocol
A high-quality, individually addressable RGB LED protocol with an integrated IC and built-in capacitance, using a single-wire serial cascade for accurate color control.
Overview
APA105 LEDs combine the control circuit and RGB chip in a 5050 SMD package, offering uniform color mixing and 256-level gray scale adjustment. They feature a robust data shaping circuit, allowing transmission distances over 10 meters and stable operation at up to 800 Kbps. Each 5V LED is cuttable, supports precise animations, and includes power polarity protection, making them ideal for long, reliable digital LED strips.
